Starting brand research from a URL
A website URL can give you a starting point for a brand brief. It does not replace a customer conversation or a review of the facts.
What website research prepares
In your authorized workspace, use the new-brand workflow to research the customer's homepage. The research can prepare suggested business details, a brand brief, keywords, monitor prompts, and competitors.
Review those suggestions before confirming the setup. A website may be incomplete, outdated, or unclear about the customer's actual services and market.
What to review manually
- Confirm the business name, website, locations, and intended market.
- Check every service and differentiator against information the customer can substantiate.
- Remove keywords that do not reflect real buying questions.
- Check that suggested competitors are relevant.
- Agree tone, disclosure, and response rules with the customer.
Research and audit completion times vary. Do not promise a fixed number of seconds or assume that pasting a URL immediately completes an audit.
Using research in a customer conversation
Share the draft brief to check your understanding. Explain what was inferred, what the customer confirmed, and what remains unknown. Agree the next step using the controls available in the workspace rather than promising automatic results.
