What a partial audit result means
Why an AI Visibility Audit can finish with partial evidence and how Outrigger handles unmeasured areas.
Why an Audit Shows Partial Evidence
An AI Visibility Audit checks live AI assistants and public third-party sources across Citations, AI Presence, Entities, Reviews, Press, and On-Page foundations. Sometimes an external provider times out, a source is temporarily unreachable, or a pillar such as Reviews is marked not applicable for your business.
How to Use a Partial Audit Result
When an area could not be measured during the run, Outrigger labels the status badge "Completed with gaps", labels the history entry "Partial audit score", and marks unmeasured pillar cards "Unavailable". Unmeasured checks stay separate from confirmed zero scores so you can review completed findings and action items.
You can select "Refresh audit" if the page failed to load, select "Re-run Audit" when ready, or email hello@outriggerai.com with your brand name and audit timestamp.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does a failed provider check count as zero in my score?
No. When a third-party source or AI provider cannot be reached during a run, Outrigger marks that area as "Unavailable" rather than scoring it as zero.
