Days 64–90: re-audit & tighten
The final stretch. Stop adding new tactics. Run the comparison audit, fix the weakest pillar one more time, and prepare a reviewed monthly report. Compare observed changes without treating the schedule as causal proof.
Day 64: run the comparison audit
Trigger a full audit. When it completes, open the Day 1 baseline audit in another tab. Compare side-by-side.
Record what changed for each pillar without assuming the direction:
- AI Presence: compare the same prompt set and models used at baseline
- Entities: confirm which inconsistencies were actually resolved
- Reviews: separate new review activity from any score movement
- On-Page: list the pages and structured-data changes that shipped
- Citations: distinguish responses drafted, posted, and later observed in returned sources
- Press: count verified coverage rather than outreach sent
The composite is the headline, but it has a noise band and is not a guaranteed outcome. Explain the measurement window, material actions, and any changes to the audit inputs before interpreting the delta.
Days 65–70: attack the weakest pillar
Whichever pillar is lagging at Day 64 gets one focused week.
If Press outreach needs review
Pivot the angle. The current angle isn't landing. Try a contrarian take, a specific data point, a founder-led perspective. Pitch 5 new journalists, all in different publications.
If Reviews are the laggard
Review actual customer feedback and invite eligible customers using a sentiment-neutral rule. A request quota or target rating does not establish a future visibility result.
If AI presence is the laggard
Inspect the sampled answers and available source evidence before proposing a cause. Possible work to review includes:
- More authoritative sources: Wikipedia, niche industry publications, expert directories.
- Better citation execution: your responses might be too promotional. Re-read the Citations course; rewrite for genuine value.
If Citations are the laggard
You're picking weak threads. Be ruthless: only Google top-5 threads, only <90 days old, only threads with active engagement.
Day 71: promote a bigger keyword set
If everything is on track, expand monitor scope. Run keyword research with three new seeds (different angles of the buying journey). Promote 5–10 more clusters to monitor prompts.
A changed prompt set changes the measurement. Keep a comparable baseline when expanding scope, and do not describe sampled SOM or an audit composite as a historical benchmark percentile.
Days 72–84: final push
Two weeks of consistent execution at the same daily rhythm. Don't add anything new. Don't pivot. Just keep doing the work.
Illustrative weekly plan only; adapt volumes to relevant work, permissions, and approval capacity:
- 15–20 new citations placed per week
- 2–3 press pitches per week
- 1 review campaign push if velocity is below target
- Daily proposals queue triage
Day 85: run the final audit
This is the score you report. Don't run another audit after this: you want a clean 90-day comparison number, not a noisy daily one.
Day 86: generate the first report
Open Reports, choose the period and click Generate report. It uses no credits and sends nothing. Automatic delivery on the 1st is off unless Outrigger enables it.
Open the saved report and verify the figures before you share it. The saved report is not editable in the dashboard.
Days 87–90: tell the story
The score is the headline. The story is what makes the score memorable.
Three things worth pulling out for the wrap-up:
- The biggest single win: a verified entity fix, earned press piece, or exact source URL observed in a monitored response. Pick one.
- The before-and-after on one specific buying-intent prompt. Screenshot of "Day 1: not mentioned" → "Day 90: top recommendation."
- Historical benchmark context. Compare only the same raw signal using a compatible method and state the study limitations. Do not invent a live rank or equate an audit composite with a raw-signal percentile.
These are results you can show at the next review, alongside measurement limits. They do not establish revenue return.
